Education for PhD students (promovendi)

Cardiovascular education and research is co-ordinated in the COEUR research school (Cardiovasculaire Onderzoeksschool Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam - Cardiovascular Research School Erasmus University Rotterdam), a co-operative venture of eleven Erasmus MC departments. The research of the Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery departments amounts to over half of the total cardiovascular research in COEUR.

A structured training program for the AIO (trainee researcher) and AGIKO (trainee clinical researcher) categories and other PhD students has been developed within COEUR.
