Medium Care Cardiology

The Medium Care Cardiology unit has to cope with every conceivable facet within the specialist field of cardiology, such as heart failure, artificial hearts, congenital care for young adults, electrophysiology and interventional cardiology. In addition there is a special heart transplant unit, where patients stay in preparation for a transplant and for recovery after a transplant. The department has 42 beds.
