Outpatient Department

At the Outpatient Department of the Thoraxcenter patients are seen who are referred by their family doctors or other specialist for outpatient cardiological investigation. Patient clinics are held in the Outpatient Department, as well as heart function investigation, such as ECG, holter analyses, echo investigation and cycling tests. In addition patients that have been admitted into the Cardiology and/or Cardiothoracic Surgery departments checked in the Outpatient Department. Patients also come here with chronic cardiac defects that must be regularly examined to monitor the course of the disease and the treatment. Blood tests are also carried out in the Outpatient Department.
